It's just 2 more days to Christmas And 7 more days till the end of the year! Time to say Goodbye to 2013 and Hello to 2014! 2013 has been a fun filled year, with lots of ups and downs. But I had managed to overcome everything. Hoping that 2014 would be a better year for me and for all the others! So lets warmly welcome 2014! Cheers! :D

Project : Nature Photography

I'm such a nature lover! I just love taking pictures of nature. It really keeps me calm and relax. Whenever I'm into nature photography, I tend to forget myself for a moment cause I enjoy doing what I love. I AM WHO I AM!
Well, nature photography actually refers to a wide range of photography taken outdoor and devoted to displaying natural elements such as landscapes, wildlife, plants and close ups of natural scenes and textures.

Peacock.

Peafowl are two Asiatic and one African species of flying bird in the genus Pavo of the pheasant family, Phasianidae, best known for the male's extravagant eye-spotted tail covert feathers, which it displays as part of courtship. The male is called a peacock, the female a peahen, and the offspring peachicks. The adult female peafowl is grey and/or brown. Peachicks can be between yellow and a tawny colour with darker brown patches or light tan and ivory, also referred to as "dirty white". The term also embraces the Congo Peafowl, which is placed in a separate genus Afropavo.

In common with other members of the Galliformes, males possess metatarsal spurs or "thorns" used primarily during intraspecific fights.

White peacocks are not albinos; they have a genetic mutation that is known as Leucism, which causes the lack of pigments in the plumage. Albino animals and birds have a complete lack of color and red or pink eyes while White peafowl have blue eyes. The white color appears in other domestically bred peafowl but in different quantities. Chicks are born yellow and become white as they mature, according to the Peafowl Varieties Database. Indian peafowl of all colors, including white, have pink skin.

Kembara Alur Ilmu

Kembara Alur Ilmu was carried out around UKM in order for the members of Team Alur Ilmu to get to know more about Sungai Alur Ilmu, UKM. This activity was also aimed to find out the real cause of pollution of Sungai Alur Ilmu.

When boredom strikes!

I travel quite often. Most of the time, my journeys especially at night would be quite boring. And this is what I do when I'm on the back seat of the car. If you're wondering how I actually took this shot.. Well, it's by setting a low shutter speed on my camera and START CAPTURING. You'll be amazed with the shots you capture. Low shutter speed shots (Some call it "light painting") are definitely one of my favourites. 

Sunset at PD.

Port Dickson, or PD to locals, is a beach and holiday destination situated about 32 km from Seremban and 90 km from Kuala Lumpur. It is located in the state of Negeri Sembilan in Peninsular Malaysia. It takes just over an hour by car to travel from Kuala Lumpur to Port Dickson along the North-South Expressway.

And this was where I spent my weekend last week.. These are some photos which i would like to share..

Cats.

The domestic cat (Felis catus or Felis silvestris catus) is a small, usually furry, domesticated, and carnivorous mammal. It is often called the housecat when kept as an indoor pet, or simply the cat when there is no need to distinguish it from other felids and felines. Cats are often valued by humans for companionship and their ability to hunt vermin and household pests.

Cats are similar in anatomy to the other felids, with strong, flexible bodies, quick reflexes, sharp retractable claws, and teeth adapted to killing small prey. Cat senses fit a crepuscular and predatory ecological niche. Cats can hear sounds too faint or too high in frequency for human ears, such as those made by mice and other small animals. They can see in near darkness. Like most other mammals, cats have poorer color visionand a better sense of smell than humans.
